Razzle Dazzle Pocket Card

I created this pocket card using the Razzle Dazzle stamp set 116714 and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP 115675. Here is a Pocket Card Tutorial that I found on Splitocoaststampers (SCS).

The tutorial also shows a variation which I will have to attempt another day!
This is a perfect card to include a gift card into. This card actually has 3 pockets. I folded 3 corners to make the 3 pockets. If you only fold 2 then it would serve as a 2 pocket. If you cut a slit on one of the quarters, the back page will open up (see tutorial).

Other SU supplies used: Melon Mambo Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon 115611, Crushed Curry CS 115319, Whisper White CS 106529, Melon Mambo Classic Ink 115616, Clear Rhinestone Brads 113144, Modern Label Punch 116630, and Scallop Edge Punch 112091.

Paper Bag Mini Scrapbook

Ever since I seen the new Square Scallop Die, I've been wanting to make this type of mini scrapbook. I decided to use paper bags, so that I could add the pull out pages. In doing so, I got to use my Round Tab punch. This morning I sat down to make this creation. I think I will make another one and give them both as gifts. One to my sister, with pictures of my lovely niece, Rozelyn. And the other to my niece, with pictures of my great niece, Aubrey. This is a perfect way to showcase some of their current pictures like the ones below. Aren't they just the CUTEST?!?!? I just love the way Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Pretty in Pink all go together! I will post the end result as soon as I am done with them!

Barrel of Monkeys

Ok so maybe not a barrel! This is what 50 monkey Baby Shower Invites look like. Centerpieces are in the works. These are one of the many recent projects I have had. It is a 5" x 7" slider card. I created it with the Monkey QuicKutz die. The "It's A Boy" Stamp is from a retired SU set, Brides & Babies from 1996! It is one of my most used sets..... 13 years later!

Hello World!

Photobucket

A few months ago, I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Not knowing then, this would be the return of my presence in the cyber world. It had been some time since I was active online. Years ago, I enjoyed exploring the web, creating photo collages and making graphics. That was a way of extending my creativity into the cyber world.

Soon after becoming a demo, I started exploring the SU website and some of the wonderful blogs of the members in my group. I was now part of a great company, and member of a group of "Udderly Awesome" stampers. Whoa! I had never imagined! I spent hours just gazing at all the creations AND the layouts of the sites. Of course I wanted to have one too!

I started with signing up for a DBWS through SU. Then I started thinking, if I wanted the online aspect of my business to grow, I should have a blog that would link to my DBWS. (Like everyone else!) It wasn't until a fellow group member, Lee Conrey, had a "bloglift" by Tee that I decided I really wanted to start blogging. I had already chosen a name for my blog, I just needed a design for it that would reflect me. I contacted Tee and she got to working on it almost immediately!

Tee is an awesome (and quick) designer! She totally captured all the elements that I shared with her: polka dots, flourishes and a butterfly! My blog design is perfect, customized to perfection just for me! Tee even found the exact font I wanted for my banner, "Bleeding Cowboys". A huge THANKS to Tee! I now have my own little corner of the web where I can share my OCD (Osessive Crafting Desires) for all the world to see!
